The celebrities that we see walking down the red carpets, in the magazines and in the movies look flawless. Their skin is wonderful, their hair is gorgeous…

How is that possible? Are they really made of something else than we are? Of course not! They just spend time and money on beauty products and treatments that make them look great. Here are some of the tips they’re using to look flawless.

1.

If you put on your night cream right before you go to bed, most of it will end up on your pillow. Make sure you put your night cream on a while before you go to bed and give it time to absorb. (Arezoo Kaviani – Claudia Schiffer’s beauty therapist)

2.

Make your skin softer and more fresh by giving it a spa-treatment right in your living room. Boil some water, put some fresh ginger into it and squeeze half a lemon. Then steam your face for a few minutes! Your skin will be like new! (Rani Mirza, Natalie Imbruglia’s beauty advisor)

3.

Let the most important product in your beauty bag be your cleanser. Find the right cleanser for your skin type and use it twice daily! (Vaishlay, advises Rachel Weisz, Kirsten Dunsts and Kimberly Stewert)

4.

Organic yoghurt is the best face mask there is! (Debbie Stone, works with Heidi Klum, Helena Christensen and Stella McCartney)

5.

In order to make your eyes look bigger, use a beige eye pencil, rather than a black one. (Caroline Barnes)

6.

The signs of aging quickly appear on the elbows, so don’t forget to take care of the skin in this area with some lotion! (Mary Greenwell, responsible for the flawless Uma Thurman and Cate Blanchett)

7.

Never ever forget to wear sunscreen! (Demands Jemma Kidd make-up artist for Sienna Miller, Diane Kruger and Naomi Campbell)

8.

Once a week, rub some olive oil on your face and neck – the skin will become smooth and fresh looking! (Amy Oresman – advisor to Sharon Stone)

9.

Puffy eyes? The solution is in your kitchen. Take two table spoons, put them in some cold water, then place them on your eyes. Repeat this a few times and your eyes should be looking fresh! (Liz Pugh, responsible for the looks of Emily Blunt, Eva Green, and Rose Byrne)

10.

Let your primer or face creme absorb for 20 – 30 minutes before you apply your foundation! That way, your foundation will last longer. (Nicki Ledermann, make-up artist for Christina Ricci, Kristin Davis and Sarah Jessica Parker )

Great Tips!

I think that the best beauty tip I could ever give is to take your make up off before you go to bed. Some people go to bed with their make up on and that’s not really healthy for the skin.

Great advice, Grace! Thanks so much :)
No one should go to bed with make-up on – the skin can’t breathe and looks so tired the next day!

My best beauty advice is to drink lots of water, eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep and workout 5 days a week.
