13 Things You Need At The Beach

There is nothing more fun and relaxing than laying on the beach on a hot summer’s day… You leave in the morning, find the perfect spot and look forward to spending the day in good company, swimming, tanning (not too much), reading…

You’ve found your perfect bikini and you’re dressed up in the cutest summer outfit, but how many times have you arrived at the beach and found out that you were missing some of the essentials that make your stay at the beach just perfect?

You’re reading your magazine or newspaper and come across a crossword and then – where’s the pen?! So here’s a check list of 13 beach essentials that will perfect your summer day at the beach!

1. Hat – even though you’re not a hat person – a hat comes in handy at the beach.

2. Beach Tote – with lots of room for all your stuff. You can use it as a ‘pillow’ as well!

3. Sunscreen – don’t leave home without it!

4. Sunglasses – can you imagine a hot summer’s day at the beach without them?

5. A pen – to do the crossword puzzles and various quizzes in the magazines!

6. Fashion magazines - are one of my favorite beach essentials – I usually read them online, but it’s so ‘retro’ and fun to have them with you on the beach!

7. Beach Towel – find a perfect quality towel that you can have for many summers to come.

8. Jelly Shoes – these are a huge summer hit in 2010, but also very handy if you’re going to a wild beach with lots of rocks!

9. A book – when you get tired of magazines and want to spend time on something a little deeper, turn to your book!

10. iPod Touch – So you can relax to some music, but also satisfy your need to check your email, Twitter, Facebook or what not. We are after all 2010 human beings – we relax doing that kind of stuff!

11. Compact Mirror - Just to make sure you don’t have a sunscreen mustache!

12. Hair Brush – The salty water really makes your hair tangled, so make sure you brush it when you get out of the water!

13. Small Wallet for your coins – no need to bring all your cards to the beach – you surely won’t need your library card! Better to leave them safe at home!
