We have already covered the sunglasses and the bags, and the turn has now come to one of our favorite items: shoes! When it comes to choosing the right shoes for a music festival there are three things to keep in mind:
- Comfort
- Weather
- Style
You’ll be walking a lot, so make sure the shoes you bring are a pair you know you can wear many hours at a time. So, don’t buy new shoes for the festival two days before you have to be at the festival!
2010 Trendy Festival Choices
Unfortunately, high heels are just not an options when at a music festival, unless you’re fortunate enough to be in the VIP area. But if you’re there living the festival life with mud, dirt and trash, your Louboutins are in for a little vacation! If you insist on wearing something with a heel, choose wedges!
Trainers
The trainers are the safe and comfortable choice suitable for almost all types of weather – especially when it’s not too cold and not too hot! You can wear these with a skirt, a dress, jeans, leggings, shorts – they are very versatile!
Sandals
If you’re lucky enough to get a really hot summer music festival, sandals will be your best friend. They’re cute and they are comfortable (well, most of them!) and they let your feet breathe. Choices are many when it comes to these hot shoes!
Wellies
You’ve probably seen pictures of muddy people running around at festivals and still looking fashionable, even though the weather couldn’t possibly be any worse! Wellies are a festival-goer’s best friend in such situations, so pick wisely!

Couldn’t agree more!
I’m so in love with the pink printed wellies, although I’d probably prefer wearing Chucks.. wouldn’t be that funny if someone jumped on your feet.. unless you’d like to visit a hospital. I broke my little toe twice, hah!
Happy you like it! :) Thanks for your comment, Ally!
Love the sandals…have seen them around NYC a lot, especially the pink ones, but in black. Me, I still have trainers and wear them everywhere!
