Many claim that wearing the right underwear makes everything else you wear over it look beautiful. Here are some tips on how to find the perfect bra for your outfit!

Strapless dresses

Strapless bras are never fun to wear. If you have small breasts they tend to not fit tight and if you are well-endowed they just seem to fall off and end up not working at all. For this I would definitely make sure to choose a bra that has GREAT quality and try to spend an extra amount of cash on it, it goes a long way.

• Fantasie strapless bras (1) are God’s gift to women, though they are not exactly “pretty” they have a band that is extremely firm and the front part of the bra always stays very close to the chest (which is what you should always want). Our choice: Fantasie smoothing strapless bra

• Demi bras (2) - you might think it’s really strange I used a bra with straps as example to wear with strapless dresses, but this is a great tip I have used for years! Demi bras give great support because this bra has the same shape as a strapless bra, but of course with the straps, so if you have a demi bra lying around, tuck in the straps on the side of the bra and voila! You have a strapless bra with great support. If you are feeling even more daring, you can pick a bra that you are okay with cutting the straps permanently, and there you have a strapless bra! Our choice: Elle Macpherson Lace notes bra

Low V-neck dresses

There are many different plunge bras you can wear with deep v-neck dresses. Of course pick the one that you feel the most comfortable with. Even though it is low make sure you are not coming out of it, pick your size! and most of the time you will have to go up a cup size to make sure it fits right.

• U Plunge bra (1) - an extreme low-plunge bra, great with gowns and evening dresses. Our choice: Fashion Forms plunge bra

• Push up bras (2) – this is a very easy one, push up bras were made to have a lower neck line, but can also give amazing cleavage. Our choice: The miracle bra push up by Victoria’s Secret

Low Back Dresses

Gorgeous, but oh so hard to wear! Here are some tips to make it easier:

• NuBra (1) - self adhesive bra with no straps and no band! Can be great to wear even with strapless dresses. With this you want to make sure you are not doing any strenuous activities while you are wearing it (no wild dancing and no skydiving!) since it is self-adhesive and not super glue it will slip off easily. If you are a A-C cup it will be much easier for you. Our choice: NuBra

• Low back straps (2) - This is a very comfortable alternative. The band can be adjusted to go even lower and the straps can be taken off. If you are over a D or E cup, this is a better choice, though I do not recommend wearing backless dresses to women over D cups (like myself) Our choice: Multi Way bra from Victoria’s Secret
