The ‘clumsy’ high heels make the outfit modern and not so conservative and the pencil skirt makes the outfit sexy, while the oversized blouse makes it sophisticated and chic.
I’ve always liked the look and feel of wearing a blouse that is wider than your pencil skirt. It makes the look a little more ‘French’ – more feminine, and you won’t end up looking like a secretary, even though you’re wearing classic items!

I also like the opaque look of the blouses — very floaty and feminine. Getting pretty tired of the uber tailored stretch blouses that you have to pin shut at the bust line!
Yes, me too! It’s so chic and comfortable to wear blouses like these… And you can pair them with some leggings or skinny jeans and get a great, casual, but modern look!
