Fall Fashion: Spin It To Win It!

by Milana on September 1, 2010

It was with some excitement that I sat down to tackle the hot topic of AW/2010 wardrobe updaters on the cheap. I write a blog called ‘She Wore What?!’ which began as an outlet for me to share ways in which I intended to stay ahead of the fash pack with minimal funds, but has gradually developed into a sounding board of ways that I can get my style fix whatever the cost..(oops).

But for this guest post I have decided to go back to basics and re-root myself to where I was when I actually began my blog ( i.e, loving fashion, not loving my overdraft facility….) and look at some ways in which we can style up for AW/10 without spending a whole heap of cash. Not that we don’t enjoy doing that, of course…but sometimes it’s just not practical.

Win Win…

And how much of our wardrobes do we actually wear? I’d say, for me, about 20%, 80% of the time. So not only will we save money, and the environment (less waste, recycling is goooood) but we’ll also find new ways of wearing past season clothes in a fresh way. Erm, win win!

So, over the following days I shall be looking in depth at how we can make our wardrobes work harder. Until then, here is a little ‘dream outfit’ to whet our fashion appetites…what I wouldn’t do for a Mulberry bag!

This is part 1 of a 3 piece mini series guest post by the wonderfully talented and beautiful Amie, whose style is truly inspiring! Make sure to check out her blog SheWoreWhat? and her Lookbook.nu page and see all her beautiful outfits!

Adore the bag!
A bit much shearling in the outfit, imo, but with another pair of shoes, I could imagine wearing it.

This outfit looks soo great ! I wouldn’t wear it all together, but with some other clothes I have in my closet, it could make some wonderful matches !!
Love,
