Trick or treat – it’s Halloween! Have you started planning your costume? The usual, like a witch or a hippie, always pop in your head first, but check these costumes based on famous character. You’ll probably find something in your closet that you can use to look like one of them!
Charlie Chaplin
Charlie Chaplin was an English comic actor, film director and composer best known for his work during the silent film era. He became the most famous film star in the world before the end of World War I.

To achieve his look you’ll need following:
Baggy Pants - Baggy pants, the bigger the better since he’s known for wearing oversize clothes. If they are too big, use them with suspenders. Or you might try some wide leg pants.
Button Down Shirt - Layer a white button shirt with a vest and an oversized jacket.
Bow Tie - Give it your personal touch with a color bow tie instead of regular black tie.
Cane & Hat - Two accessories that make him are his bamboo cane and his bowler hat.
Oxfords - Complete your look with some oxfords and if you’re able to walk borrow one size bigger. It’s very important to add his characteristically mustache and black eye liner.
Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name Elvis and often referred to as the “King of Rock and Roll”.

Flare Pants – Go all white for the king of rock and roll. Use a flare white pants over a white button down shirt that way you’ll be able to pop the collar and let the long sleeve loose.
Accessories – Pick a rhinestone belt or even a glittery one. If you like arts & crafts, glue some rhinestones to the shirt. Another solution would be to find a long fringe necklace to place over it and use the red scarf around the neck but underneath your shirt.
Sunglasses – Add the sunglasses and either a wig or pull your hair in a ponytail with gel for the finishing look.
Cape – And if you find a cape you’re one step closer to becoming Elvis.
Coco Chanel

Dress – For the ultimate “trés chic” look wear a short or long black dress whichever you prefer.

For those that might not know her, she’s a 90-year-old style icon who’s known for her dramatic ensembles. As a young woman, Barrel worked for Women’s Wear Daily and for interior designer Elinor Johnson.

Glasses – To get her look you need two basics the oversize round black frames glasses and lots of jewelry.
Accessories – Use turquoise necklaces and big cuff bracelets like these silver over a floral fringe shirt.
Pants - Pair them with a wide leg red pant. Mix different shapes, colors, patterns and keep in mind that the more the better!
Audrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn needs no introduction. She was a huge movie star and an undeniable fashion icon, people still look up to fashion-wise to this day. She was beautiful, feminine, elegant and fun all at the same time. In order to get Audrey’s look for Halloween, you’ll need few simple, and classic, items. Amongst others a little black dress, a pair of Mary Janes and a pearl necklace! This look is great for a more sophisticated party!
