How To Get Soft Hands In 10 Minutes

by Milana

When it comes to summer, everyone’s focus and priority are the feet and making them soft and ready for summer sandals – but what about the hands? Here’s how to get and keep your hands soft all year!

Peeling

Just like you treat your face to a soft peeling once a week (you really should, if you are not already) you can ‘peel’ your hands to make them soft and gentle to look at and touch.

All you need is a little honey, a few drops of lemon and a table spoon of sea salt.

Mix those ingredients together and rub your hands for a few minutes. Your hands will feel like new instantly! Do this every now and then and especially during winter or summer, when the skin dries out.

Moisturize

Naturally, after a peel, you should moisturize with a rich hand cream. However, make it a habit to use hand cream every night before you go to sleep  - you’ll wake up with the softest hands!

Always keep a little hand cream in your handbag and make sure to apply it once or twice a day after washing your hands. You’ll instantly see results!

And if you have really really dry hands avoid lotions with fragrance. They tend to dry them out even more. As much as I love Victoria Secret’s/Bath and Body Works lotions, i have to put them aside and use Jergens, Curell or something like that. Sometimes i cheat, cause i mean who doesn’t love the yummy smelling hand creams!? ;)

I love the smell of pomegranate in hand lotions! Have you ever tried it?

You can try – The thing is, sea salt is chunky – that’s why it’s best to use. Try using brown sugar, if you have that in your kitchen. :)

Yes, just use salt that is not fine. You need it to act as peeling.
