Packing for a vacation may seam simple. But how may times did you open your suitcase and realize that you have nothing to wear or don’t feel like wearing the things you brought along?
Vacation is not the time to experiment with your style. I say, don’t experiment – you’ll end up buying new things that you feel cofortable in. Here are some golden rules when preparing for a vacation.
- Comfortable clothes – There’s nothing worse than not being able to feel good and relaxed on your vacation. There’s no need to experiment with your clothes on vacation.
- Pack light – no need to bring 5bags along – I bet you’ll end up wearing only some of the clothes you bring along
- Picture the outfits in your head -if you’re going to be away for 5 days calculate how much clothes you’ll need – no need to carry too much luggage around with you
- Go easy on the jewelery – if the vacation is spent in a sunny place, jewelery will make you hotter and I don’t mean in the beautiful kind of way. Besides there’s a big chance you’ll lose it)
- Don’t pack brand new shoes – your feet will love you for that.
- Remember the basics – write a list of the essentials. Like a charger for your phone or moisturiser.
- Clothes lose colour in the sun – think about that – black clothes will return looking worn out if you leave them in the sun

Don’t take brand new shoes specially! Unless you want to get blisters or be uncomfortable; I’ve experienced that before. Good Post!
Interesting tips. Good article. Some things I’d never considered and I travel a lot!
