I live in Copenhagen, Denmark and over the last couple of months these New Balance sneakers seem to have taken over the streets in terms of shoe fashion trends. Everyone, and I mean literally everyone, is wearing them. They’re comfy, they’re neutral and they’re hip. I’ve seen so many different women styling them in so many different and fun ways. From feminine dresses and skirts to hipster leather-look pants – nearly everything can be paired with these shoes.
I love how versatile they are and how they can make an otherwise boring or formal outfit more fun and cool! I imagine wearing them with a short skirt and a white t-shirt, or maybe something more dramatic like a pair of nice pants cuffed up and a trench coat when the spring comes along!
When it comes to shoes, I do prefer high heels as they’re more feminine and give me a little bit of extra height {at 5’1 I could use every inch I can get!}, but at the same time, some situations require comfortable footwear like sneakers and these U410 from New Balance are a great alternative to my Converse. This time around I opted for a simple black pair, but I have my eye on a pair of grey ones, or maybe even a crazy bright color for spring too! We’ll see.
Trendy Comfort
New Balance Athletic Shoe Inc. was founded in 1906 and are known for its technical innovations, such as a blend of gel inserts, heel counters, and a greater selection of sizes, particularly for very narrow and/or very wide widths. And for someone who gets sore feet practically just from standing, I have high hopes and expectations for these shoes – just look at the old ad for them!
