New Trend Alert: Shearling Jackets

by Milana

It’s no secret that shearling jackets are THE must have item for F/W 2010 and I have found what to me seems like the perfect shearling jacket. Rick Owens has created this beautiful jacket that looks like the softest thing you will ever wear and at the same time it is well-fitting and feminine. The soft, natural brown tone will go perfectly with another F/W 2010 trend, namely the color camel!

Usually, shearling is associated with warm, but not so pretty and a little too bulky shoes! But not this year! With a pair of black skinny jeans and your favorite high heels, you’re ready to meet the coldest days of winter in the most fashionable way!

In the same department…

Shearling jackets are being talked about the most, but there are also many other items in the shearling department that will spice up your winter wardrobe.

Have your say…

What do you think of this trend? Are you going to wrap yourself up in these feminine shearling items?

Hm, not exactly my thing. Might change my mind, tho, if I can find a nice black shearling jacket.
Much more fond of capes this season!

xoxo, A.

I’m not the biggest fan of shearling but I do like your picks! :)

Thanks Lea – shearling does take some getting used to… This year, shearling is a lot more feminine and soft than it is usually… Xx

I like it. I especially like the black McQueen heels… now if only I could afford them!
