Ever met a woman who doesn’t love shoes? Me neither… In all shapes, colors, patterns, materials, heights… We rarely discriminate especially when it comes to designer brands! Shoes are one of our biggest fashion obsessions, but would you wear all kinds of shoes? Here are some that are a little to the extreme side, even for the colorful, shoe-loving Carrie Bradshaw!
The late Alexander McQueen created the very popular and talked about HOOF for S/S 2010. The 12 inch (yes, you read it right!) heels made headlines all over the world for their extreme, but still beautiful and artistic look!
Now, a Dutch designer, Iris Van Harpen, has challenged the HOOF, with her own extreme, but a little more ‘normal’ looking, shoe: The Iris Heel.
The heel made its debut in van Herpen’s F/W 2010 collection and only 168 pairs in black and 72 pairs in ivory will be available at select retailers for $1,295 USD (1,000 Euro)!
